The children will be able to observe and hold all the animals during this program. Observe the different invertebrates that inhabit the local waters of Oyster Bay and Long Island Sound. Explore different characteristics that help identify species and learn about locomotion, feeding behavior, and their habitat. Species usually consist of clams, oysters, hermit crabs, spider crabs, sea stars, and horseshoe crabs.
