Service Description
Each week, we will focus on concentration and careful observation, while we assemble simple machines and contraptions! Children explore Physics and STEM while learning about force, motion, gravity and TEAMWORK! Simple Science offers two courses throughout the year. We do not want our littlest engineers getting bored or burnt out before coding begins in 2nd grade! However repetition is key!! If your child has already taken both SS classes but wants to continue please do! They will be given the opportunity to customize their creations if they finish early and take their designs to the next level! LEGO® KITS USED: LEGO® BricQ PROGRAM LENGTH: 6 Weeks CLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes CLASS SIZE: 10 Max GRADES: 1 and 2. ( Some 2nd graders prefer this course to Little Engineers because it is all engineering and no coding)

LEGO® Advancing Engineers - SPIKE PRIME! *Students in this course will build and code weekly challenges. Unlike our EV3 Robotics classes these devices are Most of the time broken down at the end of each class and next week is a new challenge focused on different grade aligned STEAM standards. X-ROBOTX LEGO® Robotics programs are a top to bottom program for learning the fundamentals of robotics, using the newest successful LEGO® robotics kit: the SPIKE! These classes are great for any students who love either LEGO® or coding, or kids who haven’t worked with either before.
